Specialist Orthodontist

Dr Shivprasad is a specialist Orthodontist with over 12 years of experience in General dentistry and 8 years of specialization in Orthodontics.  Dr Shivprasad graduated in dentistry in 2011 and completed his Masters in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in the year 2015. His passion for his subject made him pursue a PhD in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics. He has worked as an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at SMBT IDSR, MUHS and as a Consultant Orthodontist at Ashoka Medicover hospitals, India before joining New Ivory Dental and Implant Clinic.

As a specialist in Orthodontics, his expertise goes beyond conventional Orthodontics with training in the recent clinical techniques such as Invisalign (Clear) Aligners, Self Ligating Brackets (Damon) and Surgical Orthodontics. He believes in improving each and every patient’s smile through a well directed treatment modality and accurate guidance of facial development. He has a special interest in growth modulation therapy and skeletal anchorage for speedy and Efficient Orthodontics.

Dr. Shivprasad makes every effort to stay up-to-date with the current developments in the field of Orthodontics and actively participates in workshops, conferences and webinars. He is a member of the Indian Orthodontic Society with numerous research papers and case presentations in national and international journals to his credit and is an author of two books. In his free time he enjoys swimming, gardening and playing badminton.
