Specialist Implantologist

Dr. Tanveer Ahmed is a licensed dentist and implantologist who has been practicing in Dubai since 2004. After completing his graduation from Bangalore University, India, in 2000, he pursued a Certificate in Implantology from the German Association of Oral Implantology (DGZI) — the oldest dental implant association in Europe, founded in 1970.

He began his private practice soon after graduation and made Dubai his home in 2004. After working with several healthcare centers, he established New Ivory Dental & Implant Clinic in Business Bay — a location he chose out of his genuine fondness for the area. Over the past two decades, he has placed hundreds of implants and continues to lead and train his team at New Ivory with passion, precision, and dedication.

Dr. Tanveer’s core passion lies in oral surgery and implantology, where he constantly strives to deliver fast, predictable, and minimally invasive treatment solutions without compromising safety or long-term success.

He has successfully completed a two-year clinical program in Progressive Orthodontic Seminars and is a Fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education (ICCDE). In addition, he is a certified Invisalign® provider and among the few dental practitioners in Dubai trained in sleep dentistry and treatment solutions for sleep apnea.

Dr. Tanveer is deeply committed to improving his patients’ quality of life through restorative and implant dentistry. He embraces technologies, including CAD/CAM dentistry, digital smile design, 3D CBCT scanning, bone grafting, sinus lifts, microscope-aided precision, and the revolutionary CEREC system — enabling same-day crowns and implants.

Dr. Tanveer has also served as a panel expert for Gulf News’ Friday Magazine “Ask the Expert” column for two consecutive years. He is regularly invited as a guest speaker at professional events and is passionate about mentoring young dentists to refine their clinical and digital dentistry skills.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Tanveer comes from a family deeply rooted in dentistry — his wife is also a dentist, and their elder children are pursuing dental studies at university. The family shares a collective passion for healthcare, innovation, and lifelong learning.

When away from work, he enjoys reading, off-roading, traveling, and exploring the outdoors — always inspired by the balance between precision, creativity, and care that defines his professional life.
